WATCH: Unseen footage of Bruno Fernandes shows Man Utd star was distraught after Copenhagen defeat

Video footage recently surfaced depicting a dejected Bruno Fernandes responding to Manchester United’s loss against FC Copenhagen.

During Wednesday’s match, Manchester United aimed to revive their Champions League journey by securing a victory against the Danish team, Copenhagen.

Despite Rasmus Hojlund propelling Erik ten Hag’s squad to a two-goal advantage, the situation took a negative turn following Marcus Rashford’s expulsion in the 42nd minute.

Ultimately, the outcome left Manchester United’s Champions League aspirations in chaos, as Copenhagen clinched a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Following the game, a video clip captured United’s captain, Fernandes, visibly upset, seated on the stairs with his head buried in his hands.

In the wake of their defeat to Copenhagen, Manchester United now faces the imperative task of winning against Galatasaray in Istanbul to remain in contention for the Champions League.

Speaking after the match, Ten Hag said: “We are very disappointed because we played very good. We started the game so well. Our best minutes of the season. We are winning the game and the red card changes everything.

“It’s a game of mistakes. I wouldn’t say we did everything right but there are a lot of positives.”

He added: “Even with 10 men we were dictating the game. We played very good. The game is never meant to be like this. This has nothing to do with football.

“I accept wrong decisions are made but when you make such tough decisions, you control the game.”
